Before the room felt heavy and closed in. By removing the heavy wood mirror and changing furniture and pictures, it has opened up the space to feel more welcoming. |

This room did not reflect the function in this family nor was it user friendly.
By moving the piano from behind the couch to make it showcased and placing accessories and furniture – this space has a more warm and functional appearance. |

The furniture was all centred in this room which did not show off the beautiful ornate china cabinet. We hung complimentary pictures, removed the carpet and chose more appropriate accessories in the room to show the furniture’s beautiful details. |

This room had no focal point and the client had not decided on which pictures would work best in this room. The armoire was too close to the patio door which cut off some of the natural lighting. We moved the armoire, chose pieces to showcase and hung the pictures. |

Although this bedroom hung pictures above the bed – it was too tall and drew your eye to the ceiling instead of focusing on the bed. By putting three pictures in landscape layout it extended the headboard to make more of the bed. |

This small dining room was not functioning fully and the china cabinet was located elsewhere in the home. By angling the furniture we were easily able to bring in and use this dining room fully. We changed to lighter curtains to allow more light into the room to brigthten and take away from the dark furniture. |

This area did not have a specific function or focal point, it was sending mixed messages with the china cabinet, exercise equipment, dart board, CD’s and lamp collection. We reduced the number of types of items in the space. |

The family room was utilizing a full size sectional which was too many pieces for the space. We removed one section and replaced a smaller size occasional chair to help break up the color and space. We removed the very large picture for a smaller size one above the occasional chair. Decluttered the shelving unit. Placed various pillows of color and texture on the sectional. The end result was the scale was much more pleasing and yet no seating was lost. |

The layout of the furniture felt crowded and there was not an easy walk way through from one room to another. Furniture was configured for better more functional layout. |
